Swing for the Wiregrass

The VFW District Golf Scramble on April 24, 2026, at Silver Wings Golf Course on Fort Rucker, Alabama, is more than a round of golf. It is a direct investment in the veterans, families, and students who carry the weight of service and sacrifice across the Wiregrass region.

Participants will compete in a four-player scramble format on one of Alabama's most storied military installation courses. Proceeds fund VFW education scholarships, emergency family relief, and veteran support programs that fill gaps where federal programs fall short.
